Avelino "Jun" Coniconde Jr.   is a portrait artist and creative graphic designer based in Northern California, U.S.A.

He was raised by a family of painters, from his late grand father Pedro V. Coniconde to his father Avelino Sr., whose paintings and portraits of prominent politicians and world figures were preserved in the National Museums, and exhibited internationally.

Jun started drawings at an early age of five, and is now specialized in portraits of known artists in the world of heavy metal music and rock icons. His inspiration came from listening to their music and getting the opportunity to see them performing live, and sometimes meeting them personally. Most of his works were made using his favorite graphite pencils, white charcoal pencils, and brushes, Strathmore Grey tone papers, and black papers.
